Senior Product Manager (f/m/d) - Software

Possible locations: Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Passau

As a Senior Product Manager (f/m/d) – Software , you are responsible for further development of our customers software and the conception and development of the data products together with the team. You work as an interface with many stakeholders and understand how to combine the perspectives of technology, user needs, design and business based on data.

  • You conduct competitive analyses and collect customer and product requirements to develop a team roadmap using data-driven methodology.
  • You also oversee the product life cycle from concept to market launch and beyond. In doing so you monitor product performance and contribute to the further development of the product based on user feedback, data and market needs.
  • You support the software development teams in the delivery of roadmap items, especially in the phase of initial shaping and specification as well as in acceptance and roll-out.
  • In the exchange with the development teams, you understand leading at eye level as one of the core building blocks of agile software development.
  • Together with the marketing and sales team you create product information and support them in selling the software product.
  • Furthermore you communicate product updates and milestones to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

 

Your Skills:

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science, business informatics or economics, ideally with a specialization in product management, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have several years of relevant professional experience as a product manager in software development, ideally also experience in the field of analytics software.
  • You have a high affinity for big data technologies and you are familiar with one ore multiple data management tools, with data integration and with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
  • Strong analytical thinking together with a strong customer orientation and a ownership mentality are a matter of course for you.
  • You are used to and appreciate tackling projects independently and taking responsibility for them.
  • You have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paces and agile environmental and you are familiar with agile/scrum methodologies.
  • You have strong (stakeholder) communication skills and are business fluent in English. Good German language skills are a plus.
