Position Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Owner for the services and products of our Data
Team to join our international team. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our Data
platform team in developing products, which includes managed database services, data streaming services,
and enabling our customers to share their domain data as data products based on the Data Mesh
architectural framework. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, driving the development
roadmap, and ensuring that our products meet the evolving needs of our customers and the industry by
providing precise functional and non-functional requirements towards our design and implementation team.
As the Product Owner for Data you will be reporting to the Lead Product Owner for Data.

Skill Requirements
Must-have competencies / Must-have skills
Minimum of 5 years of product management or product ownership experience (not just project management
experience) where you have played a key role in defining data platforms and data-related technologies for
cloud-native applications.
Comprehensive understanding of managed data services offered by public cloud providers, including data
management (databases and data lakes) and data processing/analytics services.
Basic technical understanding of tools and technologies around Kubernetes, especially Kubernetes operators
and Gitops-based tools.
Proven ability to develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy.
Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting and prioritizing customer requirements, and the ability to
advocate for the customer within the development team.

Must-have language skills
Fluent English communication skills in speech and writing (minimum C1 level).
